My Journey in Sweden ~ Entering Stockholm

We are rounding the last corner headed into Stockholm. So much beauty along the way, I enjoyed every bit of everything I saw, boats that were cruisers, restaurants, for transportation, and to admire.

The back of the sight seeing boat I was telling you about in my last post, the Hop-On Hope-Off sightseeing boat. This is a much better view of it up close.

I am going to let your mind wander here a bit. What do you think the Tivoli Gröna Lund is?
(The answer will be posted later.)

For some reason this photo below reminds me of Venice. I think it is because of the colors of the buildings. The waterways here however are much wider, bigger, and cleaner.

Seeing the Swedish flag on many of the ships almost gave me chills. The reminder of where I really was!

This was beautiful, taken at a distance. The over view entering Stockholm. I needed some closer shots!

You probably can't see from the photo above, but the photo below reminded me of Santa Cruz, this is the Boardwalk in Sweden!

We didn't actually go to the boardwalk area, but isn't the photo below kinda cool? Not sure I want to ride, is that a roller coaster?

Finally, the answer you have been waiting for! What did you think the Tivoli Gröna Lund is? I would love to see your answers posted below! How many of you guessed a carnival? No, it is not a restaurant, it is a carnival!

Thanks for stopping by!

Wishing you success in all of your genealogical treasure hunts!
