The Book of Me Written by You~Prompt 39~Do You Have A Safe Place?
I am participating in Julie Goucher's activity:
This week's prompt is - Do you have a safe place?
This can be somewhere that you gravitate to, to make decisions or reflect
Somewhere you go to think
Somewhere you go to take time out
Somewhere you keep things you must not looser
Do you have more than one safe place?
Having looked at the prompt hints have you changed that immediate thought?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The first and foremost safe place for me would be my home. I am a homebody. I have so many projects I want to do...if I could, I would stay home for months on end. Well, not really months on end, but it sounds good. To think how much I could accomplish!
In my home, I may use my bedroom or my craft/spare bedroom for peace and quiet to make decisions and/or reflect. My car comes in handy when I feel I need to get out of the house.
Ideally however, the best place to find me when I need to reflect on a situation would be anywhere there is water. A river, lake, waterfall or even the ocean! Peace comes to me best when I am around water. When I am at peace, decisions are much easier to make. I don't get to "water" every time I want or feel I need to, but ideally that is where I want to be.
My favorite body of water is here, in Costa Rica.
I have a couple of places I keep things I do not want to loose, but if I tell you, then the world would know and I would be trying to find a new "safe place!"
Thanks for stopping by!
Wishing you success in all of your genealogical treasure hunts!
