Those Places Thursday ~ An Ex-In-Law's House

This is a picture of one of my ex-sister-in-laws homes. They lived here years ago. The house just so happened to be right around the corner from where my ex and I lived. Also, directly across the street from this house is where my ex-brother-in law and his family lived. Definitely "all in the family" so to speak. It was very handy for the kids (6 cousins) to all hook up and play. If any of us needed help watching the children, it seemed one of the sister-in-laws would be able to do it.

The house has a swimming pool in the backyard, we had put one in ours also. There were many swim parties and family gatherings at this house. In fact one of my baby showers was held here. The house now has different owners and I have no idea who lives in it now. As far as I know, it has always been blue, maybe different shades of blue, but always blue. I took this picture a few years ago. We all lived in these homes when they were first built and it was a new tract. Oh...and I have "fondest" memories of us all putting in our landscaping! Those were the days...

Thanks for stopping by!

Wishing you success in all of your genealogical treasure hunts!

  1. Nice post Cheryl. We owned 2 different houses when the kids were growing up. They still call the first of those 2 home, I suppose because that's where their earliest memories were formed. It's nice to look back.
