Acknowledgement and Thanks!

With a third of this year having passed us by so quickly, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many people who have left comments on my blog so far this year! Bloggers appreciate healthy, positive, helpful and constructive comments. Comments encourage us to continue blogging and sometimes may even give us ideas for a future post. It shows us that people appreciate your thoughts, work, time and energy used towards blogging.

I have made a list of each person who has commented on my blog, hopefully I haven't left anyone out. If I have, please accept my sincere apologies and let me know!  Many of these people have left more than one comment here on Heritage Happens. I want you all to know that I really do appreciate the time you take to leave your comments here on my blog.

While making this list, I decided to log how many times each of these people below have commented this year on my blog. I have had comments sent to me that were not posted on my blog also, but I am not including those. I became curious as to who was leaving the most comments, and really following Heritage Happens. From that list I would like to recognize the top five who have left the most comments. But first, here is the complete list~

  1. Great idea! My site however, seems to draw more people who copy and/or download than leave comments! :-)

  2. What a GREAT idea! Do you keep a running list like in Excel or something - or did you go back through the comments and figure it out all at one time? Either way sounds like a lot of work

People keep coming back to your blog because you write some great stuff and we all enjoy it.

  5. What a great idea. It must have taken a lot of time to collect all the information and then to post the names and links to their sites. It shows you really DO care!

  6. Hi Jack, there is nothing wrong with people coping and downloading your information, that is great! Must mean many connections!

Hi Mary, thank you. Actually no, I didn't keep a running tab on this. I spent a day or two, off and on, working on pulling the info all together.

    Hi Jeannie, thank you!

Hi Cindy, you are welcome and thank you for the correction. I pulled the info for your other blog, so sorry! I will adjust that!

Hi Nancy, it may have been easier if I kept a running list, but the list is made and I thank everyone!

  7. Cheryl,

What a great idea. Your blog was one of the first that I discovered but of late, I don't seem to get by as often as I use to. Keep up the great work.

  8. Wow, Cheryl, this is a fabulous idea! I visit your blog to learn, get some good ideas, and to read some great stories. I am still trying to figure out how to do a "Those Places Thursday," since I don't have pictures of most of the places where I have lived. Hope we meet up some day in genealogy-land!

  10. I admire your work especially how you tallied up that data. I wanted to come by and express my thanks for your visit to my blog and extending the congratulations. I believe too that the support you all give is stimulating in one way or another. it's as one blogger says, you don't then feel like your talking to the wind.

  11. Hi Mavis,

Yes, I remember when you started! There are so many blogs now, it is difficult to keep up with them all that is for sure! One of the reasons I wanted to acknowledge those who have commented.

Hi Greta, It would be great fun to meet up in genealogy land some time, I would love it! Those Places Thursday aren't just of where I have lived, if you notice it includes places I have been or others have been, worked etc. It can be any place!

Hi Lindalee, I certainly hope you are doing better, I know it is tough times for you right now. Thank you for stopping by! looking forward to when you return, at your own pace, for sure!

    Hi Rootdigger,

We are all here to support one another! It isn't feasible to leave comments on everyone's blogs but I sure try to make as many as I can when I can. Congrats again on your blogiversary! Thanks for stopping by again also!
